About Me!
Hi! My name is Katie Seifer (she/they) and I am originally from Millburn, New Jersey. I started dancing at the age of two when my parents put me in a tutu and signed me up for a pre-k ballet class, and I haven’t stopped dancing since! Along the way I found my second home at Front & Center for Performing Arts in Springfield, NJ, and there I discovered my passion for singing and connecting with people on stage. I am now pursuing my BFA in Musical Theatre from the CAP21 Conservatory in NYC and am set to graduate in May 2025.
As an artist, my mission is to ensure that everyone feels like they belong in a society that shows us otherwise. Growing up queer and neurodivergent, I am passionate about marginalized voices being heard and making sure every single person in any room feels loved and accepted for the joy they bring. Musical Theatre and the arts is what gave me a voice so I feel it is my duty as an artist to return the favor. I hope to inspire younger people to express themselves like how my elder peers inspired me.
